The DOF MONO collection celebrates exceptional textiles discovered on our travels and transformed into collectible home objects.

This edition was created from a rare, hand block-printed linen sari sourced in India. Its geometric pattern, rich character, and subtle variations reflect the artistry of traditional textile printing. Because only a single sari was available, it yielded an edition of just six individually numbered pillows.

Each pillow is thoughtfully cut to highlight a unique portion of the original textile, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. Every piece is expertly sewn and finished in New York City, preserving the integrity and beauty of the original fabric while creating a lasting work of functional design.

The 18" × 18" and 22" × 22" pillows feature the sari's original contrasting red and blue selvedge along the bottom edge—a subtle reminder of the textile's previous life. The 12" × 46" lumbar pillows reverse to the hand block-printed striped fabric originally intended for the sari blouse, creating a distinctive two-sided design rich in history and character.

Each pillow is fully lined in lightweight cotton voile and finished with a refined knife edge and concealed YKK zipper.
